Honkytonk Wrangler is registered ApHC, Australia Appaloosa Association (AAA) as well as Sportaloosa. Sired by “Sunbeach Honkytonk” and out of a “Sir Wrangler” daughter, Honkytonk Wrangler carries and passes on time-tested and legendary Appaloosa bloodlines. This stunning 15.3 hds black and white stallion was the 2007 Appaloosa Reserve National Champion HIH 2 & 3 year old colts. After his show career “Wrangler” came home and went to work in the breeding shed. To date he has sired 19 foal crops totaling over 80 COLORED foals in 28 states and 9 countries with a color percentage of 100% on not only colored mares but solid mares as well. His foals are sweet, smart, sensible and stunning, just like their sire. Honkytonk Wrangler’s foals are showing and winning in multiple disciplines, are sensible trail horses, and excel as all-around family horses. It was with great sadness that on October 15, 2022 we humanely euthanized Honkytonk Wrangler, due to a severe injury that caused irreversible nerve damage. We will continue to breed only Avalon Appaloosas mares to him via “ICSI”. Honkytonk Wrangler will continue to be a true ambassador for the Appaloosa breed around the globe for years to come.
