You won’t find a sweeter face or perfect little doll head than on this eye-catching 2 year old Honkytonk Wrangler filly!
She is coloring up well with white hairs coming in every day and has regular ApHC papers. We expect that she will mature to 15.1 or 15.2. With her copper colored coat and a thick flaxen mane and tail she is a stunner. “Rockette” has the ability and disposition to make a really nice Youth or Non-pro horse. She is smart and willing under saddle with excellent ground manners and an “in your pocket” personality. Being your BFF is “Rockette’s” main objective in life.
“Rockette” graduated from our 2 year old “FUN ZONE” program in record time. Because she is a June baby, we took our time introducing her to the ground work program. During the winter and spring we started her in the round pen, on the lounge line, and she was ground driven and started on Showmanship. In June, 2023 after completing 30 days of professional training under saddle, “Rockette” was given a month of turn out time and is now back in the training barn for additional riding. She is soft in the bridle, has a good stop and back, jogs, long trots and lopes. She also does basic tail obstacles and has been ridden around the ranch.
Her dam, The Ebony Captive, is a stunning AQHA Appendix mare sired by AQHA stallion BR I Am, earner of 23 points in HUS and a full brother to These Irons Are Hot.
