Over the years Avalon Appaloosas has taken great pride in carefully selecting mares from our program to outcross to talented, beautiful, and outstanding-producing outside stallions. We look for stallions with exceptional pedigrees, correct conformation, athletic ability, and excellent dispositions. We believe well-bred mares are equally as important as the stallions they are bred to. Our broodmare band is made up of mares with exceptional pedigrees and abilities as well. The remarkable foals produced by this program are a direct result of the effort that has been put into it. As our breeding program expanded so did the number of broodmares in it. Several of the outstanding fillies have been retained to become a welcomed addition to the broodmares in our program.
